I guess they started on inlines. In any case, they skated on
inlines.

Unfortunately, Chad Hedrick appears to have lost his first (and I
guess most promising) 5000 m race.
There is a women's speed skating race, ladies 3000 m, coming up in
15 minutes that includes another in-line skater Jilleanne Rookard.
If you know of in-line skaters from other countries who are
hitting the ice in the Vancouver Winter Olympics, please feel free
to mention them.
The only difference is that we skate on much rougher terrain :-)
