Post by R RudHi I am having excessive inside edge ware. my foot seams to slip
to the inside edge of my right skate after a couple of miles.
Is there a solution to this problem other than buying new skates
that fit the width of my foot better?
I am a regular utility street skater. I am by far not the most
experienced skater to have graced this (currently almost extinct)
group, but I think the common advice would emphasize how important
good fitting skates are, and that you should seek some. As you now
know, your foot-boot relationship is a stressful one. I suppose
keeping your balance centered on your skate might help, but the
fit is very important.
My experience with different skate brands is limited, but from
what I have read, some are a narrower fit than others. Aside from
any answers you get here (after my reply), maybe you could do some
research on that.
Good luck and have fun.

Land Skis... Big (144 mm) front wheel with four 80 mm trailing
wheels. Great for frequent rough street skating.

By the way... Bubble wrap makes an excellent ankle wrap. Insole
too, if it is tough enough. Ultra lightweight/comfortable/cool
(bubbles facing inwards).
